Virtual High School Teaches Cybersecurity

published Byte-Sized Security curriculum for grades 9-12 now available
The latest additions to the Virtual High School’s Web-based curriculum include a forward-thinking class on securing computers in a hostile online world. The 15-week course not only includes lessons on the most insidious malware and hacking threats, but how to protect networks and systems from them. There are sections on encryption as well as an introduction to practicing good online hygiene. Aimed at grades nine and above, the class has no prerequisites.
