The Ups and Downs of Big Displays

Not all students (and many teachers for that matter) can reach the top of the typical classroom’s interactive display. With that in mind, the Peerless-AV SmartMount Motorized Height Adjustable Cart can move the classroom screen more than two feet up or down so that small children, teachers or those in wheelchairs can work the screen. The stand works with just about any large display that weighs less than 280 pounds and has 200-by-200- or 800-by 600-mm VESA mounts. With heavy duty 4-inch casters, it can be wheeled from room to room and locked in place. It sells for $2,300 and has a storage bay that fits a computer from Dell, HP or Lenovo.
