Best weekend reads - Holiday edition
By Kevin Hogan
published As 2014 winds down, the Tech&Learning news stream slows to a trickle for a few weeks. Yet there is a small potpourri of interesting edtech pieces to be shared. WGBH posts an update to what was the biggest story of the year in what can be called the great iPad fiasco. Arlington, TX just spread some holiday cheer with about $1million tech grant to 30 schools. And Fortune comes in with a positive piece than looks at a program in Berkeley, CA that encourages girls of color to code. Since there are no Scrooges here at Tech&Learning, there will be no newsletter this Thursday, so let me take the time now to wish you and yours a Happy Christmas! ‹Kevin Hogan, Content Director
