Question of the Week Archive

August 11, 2008 - August 18, 2008

What is your biggest concern about the use of technology in school this fall?
a) Keeping kids focused. Between the hidden mp3 players, camera phone cheating and secret texting, it's all we can do to keep their eyes on the front of class.
35.3%
b) Keeping tabs on cyber bullies. It's tough enough to know what's happening in the lunchroom or lockers. I'm worried about what they're posting online to their Myspace accounts, which can have a big effect on classroom morale.
5.9%
c) Not enough of it. District tech support has been poor. No one seems to understand the importance of getting students to become information literate.
