Scholars and other self-appointed education pundits are pondering the question of whether texting equals writing. Some say any writing is good writing. Others see the end of civilization.

a) Web2.0 technologies are enabling this generation to express themselves in ways they never have done before. The more texting the better.

Isn't this preaching the choir? I would expect T&L readers t be positive. I'd like to see the same poll done by the NCTE or similar professional group who are more broad-based than an instructional technology-oriented magazine.
