Welcome to a post where I wish to thank all of you for a special honor given to this blog. It is an honor to be recognized as one of eleven educational blogs to watch in 2014 by Graphite which is part of Common Sense Media. This is an amazing not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology.

I write to serve educators and students and am humbled  by this this very special mention, and see it as an incentive to continue writing and serving. I have enjoyed not just meeting and learning from all of you these past four years, but also being a member of the education profession  for over thirty-five years.

You also may wish to become acquainted with the other educational bloggers on the list of eleven for 2014. I have often read and reflected on their writings and wish to thank them for multiple ideas and resources though the years. I invite you to  explore the writings of these bloggers which includes; Richard Byrne, Vicki Davis, Scott Macleod, Darcy Moore, Lisa Nielsen, Steven Anderson, Erin Klein, Lisa Dabbs, Mary Beth Hertz, and Tom Murray. I know you will enjoy and benefit from what they have to offer. The title of this post promised not just bloggers, but also resources to explore. This is another reason to visit Graphite on the web. After visiting and subscribing to some possible blog suggestions, take a look at the site. First, explore the  link Review and Ratings where you will discover over 500 websites, and apps complete with a review. Point your mouse at Top Picks in order to explore some of the highest reviewed educational resources by category. Don’t miss the  Boards  and make sure you read the Graphite  Blog posts, filled with great tools and resources.
