Surf back in time using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, a massive digital archive of publicly available Web sites dating back to 1996. Educators and students alike will find this a valuable research tool for studying how current events have unfolded online, locating defunct sites, or even tracking how their school Web page has evolved since the "early" days. Simply enter a URL and you're whisked back to previous versions of a site, or browse the special collections to find Web snapshots from September 11 and Election 2000.
