A Letter From the Publisher

Dear Readers,

In this special editorial for our annual Back to School issue, it is my pleasure to break a bit with tradition in usurping this space to commend the continued hard work and dedication of our editorial, Web, and art team. The recently won awards you see represented on this page honor a range of T&L products-from the magazine and Web site to our e-mail newsletter. It is the mission of our editors, producers, and designers to continue to present you with the high-quality content you've come to expect over the past 22 years, and beyond that, to continually raise the bar on thorough, responsible coverage of the technology-related topics that assist you as education professionals.

It is gratifying to be recognized within our industry by such distinguished bodies as the Western Publications Association, the Association of Educational Publishers and the American Society of Business Publication Editors. Perhaps even more significant, however, is the continued recognition and trust from you, our readers, who've assisted us in bringing both technology and learning to the forefront in order to help teachers teach and students learn. We would also like to thank our contributing editors and freelance writers for providing us with their vital ongoing perspectives from "the field." Please know that your continued feedback to our editors is something we encourage and, indeed, have counted on over the years to guide us in being the best possible resource for you, today and tomorrow, in this very important business of education.
