School Site of the Month

By Michelle Thatcher

The Web site for Landon Middle School in Topeka, Kan., opens with an animation of the mascot gliding across a photo of the school. The home page is simply designed and easy to navigate, with just a few links to the school's history, photos of sports teams, and staff e-mail addresses. The real gem of this site, though, is the Student Links section, where student work and achievement is documented and lauded.

Be sure to click on Art Projects for examples of art created with both digital technology and oil pastels, and don't miss the introductory animation on the Pathways to Success program page.
