School Site of the Month

February 2001

By: Laura Pearl

Web Site

At press time, it's 25 degrees in Trumbull, Conn., where the Web Club at Madison Middle School meets once a week to keep their school site going. Although the site is a bit difficult to navigate, a pull-down menu at the top of the home page directs you to the lunch menu, important school events, and lots of Web resources (one intriguing section is devoted to the 350 words most commonly found on the SAT). There are plenty of pictures throughout the site, giving the viewer a real feel for everyday life at the school. Visitors, parents, and students are sure to find the information they need at this site!

Laura Pearl is a fourth-grade teacher at Convent of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco.
