Site of the Day

Name: Mrs. Burroughs' Class

Brief Description of the Site:
Michelle Burroughs teaches second grade at Annistown Elementary School in Snellville, GA. She uses her classroom Web site to communicate with parents and post student work. She also offers a special Teacher area where she posts links to content-related Web sites she uses as a resource for other teachers.

How to use the site:
Mrs. Burroughs sets an ambitious agenda for her Web site. She posts regular newsletters for her parents, and includes many examples of student work and photos of class activities on the site. Parents who visit the site regularly are definitely well informed! Teacher visitors will appreciate the list of links provided in the Teacher area, and will also find interesting project ideas such as the U.S. Symbols WebQuest, online scavenger hunts, and more.
