Site of the Day

Name: Wells Elementary School

Brief Description of the Site:
Wells Elementary School (grades K-4) is located in Wells, Maine. The focus of this site is sharing information about school events, showcasing student work, and encouraging student and teacher Internet use.

How to use the site:
Parents enjoy QuickTime movies of the latest school concerts, and reviewing the student work that is posted. The Cybersafety for Kids and Parents link offers parents opportunities to talk with their children about appropriate behavior on the Internet as they complete Web based activities together. Teachers will find some interesting links and instruction ideas by exploring the Classroom Web Pages and Important Links table.
