Kevin Hogan, Editorial Director
Kevin Hogan began his stint as Tech & Learning's Editorial Director in 2008. He comes to T&L directly from Scholastic Administrator, where he was Executive Editor since September 2004. Prior to Scholastic, Hogan was Senior Editor of MIT Technology Review and Editor of the magazine's website. He was also formerly a Features Editor for Business 2.0 magazine. Hogan has been reporting and writing about the intersection of business and technology since 1993. His work as appeared in numerous publications, including Wired, Forbes ASAP, and Small Business Computing magazines.

Christine Weiser, Managing Editor
Christine Weiser is a professional writer and editor specializing in education technology. She was the editor for Media & Methods magazine and most recently was a contributing editor and blogger for Scholastic Instructor and Administrator. She is the co-author of Ask Mr. Technology: Get Answers (Linworth Publishing, 2007) and the editor of many other nonfiction education book titles, including Copyright for Administrators (Linworth Publishing, 2008). When she’s not reporting on ed tech, she can be found playing bass with her band, The Tights, or writing fiction. Her first novel, Broad Street, will be released in Fall 2008.

Contributing Editors

Jeffrey Branzburg is the director of Learning Technologies for the South Orangetown, N.Y., school district. He is a frequent contributor to T&L, focusing on the needs of those new to technology. He is an instructional technology consultant and experienced staff developer. He was previously director of the NYC Board of Education's Educational Software Preview Center.

Kim Carter is director of Information Services at Souhegan High School in Amherst, New Hampshire. She writes Technology & Learning's monthly Grants, Contests, Etc., column and contributes regularly to other sections of the magazine.

Ian Jukes is associate director for the Thornburg Center for Professional Development and the co-developer of TechWorks, the integrated technology framework published by Teacher Created Materials.

Michael Milone is an award-winning author who works with schools, software publishers, and Fortune 500 companies on technology implementation.

Eamonn O'Donovan is a graduate of St. Patrick's College in Dublin, Ireland, and holds masters degrees in education and educational administration. He is currently a middle school principal in Capistrano Unified School District in Southern California. He has served as a technology mentor teacher and has written technology articles for T&L and Curriculum Administrator magazine.

Ilene Rosenthal, Washington Wire columnist and contributing editor to T&L, is president of New Image Media, LLC, an educational consulting company. She previously was general counsel and vice president for government affairs of The Lightspan Partnership, and general counsel for the Software Publishers Association.

Gwen Solomon, a writer and former school administrator whose award-winning Well Connected Educator was recently integrated into the www.techlearning.com Web site, contributes to the Technology & Learning team in a variety of ways. In addition to selecting and editing online articles, she writes for the magazine and serves in an advisory role.
