Viral ELT – Viral Videos in ELT

Viral videos get hundreds of hits every single day and they are also very popular among our students. And here is a cool blog “ViralELT” that has engaging viral videos and gives us ideas to harness their emotional impact to generate language in the ELT classroom. Each video post includes a viral video accompanied by ten conversation questions and a listening activity. The blog gives detailed information and ideas on how to use the questions and listening activity as well as suggesting ideas for revisiting vocabulary. You can also download the questions as well.

The videos and the lessons are suitable for upper intermediate (B2) to advanced (C2) adult learners of English but as teachers of English, we have a lot to get inspired from this blog!
